National Center for Computational Modeling (May 1998)

The Dosimetry Research Group of the Life Sciences Division Assessment Technology Section, headed by Dr. Keith Eckerman, has formally been designated a national "Center for Dosimetric Modeling and Computation" by federal agencies involved with occupational and public radiation protection. This group also prepared Federal Guidance Reports 11, 12, and 13, which provide nationally recommended dose conversion and risk factors for exposure to environmental radionuclides. (Contact: K. F.
